you give us gifts and make them grow:
though our faith is small as mustard seed,
make it grow to your glory
and the flourishing of your kingdom;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Every day the Corby Glen Group Virtual Church offers a service of prayer and worship in text and audio format. The recordings can be subscribed to as podcasts, or simply listened to from this website (click the service title and scroll down for the order of service).
On most weekdays, a short service of Daily Prayer is published.
A midweek service of Holy Communion is on Wednesday.
A short Daily Reflection by Revd Stephen based on the reading in each weekday service is available in text and audio formats.
A simple recorded service of Night Prayer (Compline) is available for listening to at the close of any day.
Towards the end of each week, a letter to parishioners is published.
To find particular services, use the Worship menu at the top of each page or the menu below. To find the daily reflections or sermons, use the Reflections menu. Alternatively, click a date on the calendar below to list the items published that day.
Two of our churches are open for private prayer. St John’s Church, Corby Glen, is open from 12 noon to 3pm on Tuesday and Friday, and St Andrew’s Church, Irnham, is open between 10am and 1pm on Wednesday and Saturday.
On Sunday 2 August 2020 we will start to meet again for public worship. Two services of Holy Communion, at 9am and 10.30am, will take place at St John’s Church, Corby Glen. Please contact Reverend Stephen (see below for details) to pre-book a place.
Please take care to follow government guidance on hygiene and social distancing when visiting our churches – hand sanitiser is available for use before and after visiting. For more details please see Keeping Safe: Covid-19 safety and notices and posters in the churches themselves. Thank you!
