5 to 11 July 2020
by the obedience of Jesus
you brought salvation to our wayward world:
draw us into harmony with your will,
that we may find all things restored in him,
our Saviour Jesus Christ.
Every day the Corby Glen Group Virtual Church offers a service of prayer and worship in text and audio format. The recordings can be subscribed to as podcasts, or simply listened to from this website (click the service title and scroll down for the order of service).
The National Health Service came into being on 5 July 1948. From 4pm on Sunday 5 July 2020 a special Celebration in Prayer for the Anniversary of the NHS is available.
On most weekdays, a short service of Daily Prayer is published.
A midweek service of Holy Communion is on Wednesday.
A short Daily Reflection by Revd Stephen based on the reading in each weekday service is available in text and audio formats.
A simple recorded service of Night Prayer (Compline) is available for listening to at the close of any day.
Towards the end of each week, a letter to parishioners is published.
To find particular services, use the Worship menu at the top of each page or the menu below. To find the daily reflections or sermons, use the Reflections menu. Alternatively, click a date on the calendar below to list the items published that day.
Starting this week, two of our churches will be open for private prayer. St John’s Church, Corby Glen, will be open from 12 noon to 3pm on Tuesday and Friday, and St Andrew’s Church, Irnham, will be open between 10am and 1pm on Wednesday and Saturday.
Please take care to follow government guidance on hygiene and social distancing when visiting our churches – hand sanitiser is available for use before and after visiting. Thank you!
