Dear Friends in Christ,
I am writing to you at this unusual time of the week to let you know how the current national situation is going to impact on our services over the coming week.
Firstly, let me say loudly and clearly: Christmas is not cancelled! However, it would be irresponsible of us to ignore the sense of apprehension and concern that is being felt by many. Bearing that in mind, I thought it would be helpful if I gave you a full list of the services that will be taking place between today and the beginning of 2021.

Thursday, 24 December (Christmas Eve) | 11.30pm | Midnight Holy Communion at St Andrew’s Church, Irnham |
Thursday, 24 December (Christmas Eve) | 11.30pm | Midnight Holy Communion at St Nicholas’ Church, Swayfield |
Friday, 25 December Christmas Day | 9.30am | Family Holy Communion at St John’s Church, Corby Glen |
Saturday, 26 December | 9.30am | Holy Communion for the Festival of St Stephen at St John’s Church, Corby Glen |
Sunday, 27 December | 10.30am Note – there will be no service at 9am this morning | Holy Communion at St John’s Church, Corby Glen |
Monday, 28 December | 9.30am | Holy Communion for the Festival of the Holy Innocents at St John’s Church, Corby Glen |
Wednesday, 30 December | 10am | Holy Communion at St John’s Church, Corby Glen |
Thursday, 31 December | There will be no Watchnight Service in church this year, but … | There will be a Watchnight Service available on our website from 11.30pm |
Sunday, 3 January | 9am & 10.30am | Services of Holy Communion at St Andrew’s Church, Irnham for the Feast of the Epiphany |
