Four before Advent

1 to 7 November 2020

God of glory,
touch our lips
with the fire of your Spirit,
that we with all creation
may rejoice to sing your praise;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Every day the Corby Glen Group Virtual Church offers a service of prayer and worship in text and audio format. The recordings can be subscribed to as podcasts, or simply listened to from this website (click the service title and scroll down for the order of service).

On Sunday, the service is one of Holy Communion, and includes a sermon. On weekdays, a short service of Daily Prayer is published including a reflection on the day’s reading. The sermons and daily reflections are also available separately as well as integrated into the services.

A simple recorded service of Night Prayer (Compline) is available for listening to at the close of any day.

Towards the end of each week, a letter to parishioners is published.

To find particular services, use the Worship menu at the top of each page or the menu below. To find the standalone reflections or sermons, use the Reflections menu. Alternatively, click a date on the calendar below to list the items published that day.

If you know of anyone in our communities who does not have access to the internet but would like to have CDs of the services each week, please let Revd Stephen know.
